About the opportunity
Kaipara Medical Centre is a large community-based practice, made up of a friendly, close-knit team of General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurses, Health Coach, Health Improvement Practitioner and support staff. We have a fun, supportive team environment and pride ourselves in delivering quality patient focused care.
We are looking for a part-time permanent practice nurse to join our nursing team at Kaipara Medical Centre. This is a 0.6 FTE position (3 days per week, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM). We are looking for someone who can bring clinical excellence and continually strive to deliver the highest quality care for our patients with a passion for improving the health of our community.
We would love to hear from you if you are:
- a proactive and passionate practice nurse wanting to join a fantastic team
- an experienced practice / primary care nurse with exceptional clinical skills who wants a role that works collaboratively alongside a diverse clinical team to deliver nursing and nursing services to the fullest.
Essential Skills You will need to have a current Annual Practicing Certificate and eligible to work in NZ, advanced assessment skills and experience with long-term condition management, adult and child immunizations, wound care and cervical screening would be preferred.
