Part-time permanent role - Work Pattern Mon/Tue/Fri = 22 hours
Kaipara Medical Centre is looking for a new Medical Receptionist to be part of a well-established and high-performing team, supporting a friendly bunch of dedicated doctors and nurses. We have a fun, supportive team environment and pride ourselves in delivering quality patient-focused care.
The Medical Receptionist is a pivotal person in the medical centre environment, as they are the first point of contact with patients and visitors. They also coordinate the services and have a major role to play in prioritising workflows and managing patient expectations.
Therefore, provides front-line reception services, and assists and communicates with staff accordingly.
Patients should feel that they have been dealt with in a friendly, courteous manner and that all that can be done for them has been done. "Going the extra mile" is our philosophy.
The internal focus is liaison with staff and communication of patient expectations, needs, and any other issues that require attention.
Requirement: - At least 2 - 3 years of experience working as a Medical Receptionist
- Experience within a health care setting would be beneficial (preferably in Primary Health care)
- Exceptional face-to-face customer service skills and phone manner
- Ability to work collaboratively and prioritise workload, within a busy work environment
- Solid IT understanding with experience working with Indici
- A passion for diversity and inclusion
