Are you a passionate and engaging teacher who would like to make a difference in the lives of young people? YES! Are you able to bring specialist knowledge in the area of Music? DEFINITELY! A senior secondary college in Alice Springs is looking for a Music Teacher to inspire and attract students to enjoy, achieve and develop skills. You will work in a college that is flexible and responsive to the diverse needs of each of its students in Years 10, 11 and 12. As part of a strong educational team, you will teach beside dedicated specialist teachers offering a range of courses whilst striving for excellence in a culturally responsive framework of relationship-based teaching and learning.
  
The school holds high expectations for their students whilst building positive learning partnerships to support all learners. The school offers students a number of career pathways for them to explore as well as strong community connections to support learners transition to work. The school supports learners aspiring to explore further education through a strong focus on data informed case management to ensure leaners achieve their goals. A familiarity with relationship-based teaching and learning would be an asset.  
  
This is a full-time position for 2026, with possibility of extending.
  
The perks!
The school will provide the following benefits-

• Salary between $92,215 and $131,349
• Relocation to the region from the applicants nearest Australian capital city to Alice Springs. Possibility of relocation from New Zealand.
• Paid accommodation for first 6 months, then option to stay at the accommodation for approximately $380 per week after.

• First aid certification (Contract of semester+)

What I need to succeed!
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess and/or demonstrate:

• TRBNT registration and ochre card (or ability to obtain one)
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in education
• The capacity to differentiate and cater for different learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good administrative skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with students, colleagues and community

Desirable

• A familiarity with relationship-based teaching and learning

Experienced teachers and graduates will be considered.
