We’re looking Trade Assistants to join our team and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality modular buildings, within our Victoria Operations based at Kangaroo Flat and Wood Street, Long Gully.
This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work, with roles available on either a casual basis (40-hour week with RDO included) or on a maximum term contract, depending on what suits you best. We’re looking for someone who can start ASAP (mid-July), with work confirmed through to November 2026.
Working in a factory environment, you will have the opportunity to work closely with skilled trades and construction professionals, gaining hands-on experience while supporting diverse projects. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks across dynamic commercial and residential job sites, offering a great chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist trade workers and labourers in performing their duties efficiently.
- Carry out manual tasks related to building refurbishment, installation, and steel and Site preparation.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely under management direction.
- Erect and dismantle braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and temporary structures, including fencing.
- Gather and distribute building materials and tools on job sites, ensuring proper handling.
- Drive company light trucks to and from job sites and manage loading and unloading of materials.
- Secure job sites daily by picking up tools and equipment after use and maintaining cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, follow instructions precisely, and complete documentation accurately.
What you’ll bring - Previous experience as a Labourer or Trade Assistant is preferred
- Familiarity using various hand and electric tools
- Strong focus on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
- Willingness to learn, work hard and grow.
- An understanding of the building industry desired.
- Comfortable working in a robust and fast paced environment.
- Can work as part of a team and independently.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work under cover and in open air environments.
- A willingness to learn and develop skillset.
Qualifications - Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- High Risk Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
