We at Fleetwood are looking for a talented Painter to join our amazing team in modular construction within our Victoria Operations based at Kangaroo Flat.
This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work, with roles available on either a casual basis (40-hour week with RDO included) or on a maximum term contract, depending on what suits you best. We’re looking for someone who can start ASAP (mid-July), with work confirmed through to November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces to be painted.
• Attention to quality and detail.
• Housekeeping and general working conditions of the work areas are of a high standard.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Lead by example and provide support and mentorship to apprentices.
• Undertake reworks and refurbish builds as required.
• Undertake maintenance and repair work as required.
• Work safely in compliance with WHSEQ standards and procedure

What you’ll bring

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar painting role
• Strong focus on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
• Willingness to learn, work hard and grow.
• An understanding of the building industry desired.
• Comfortable working in a robust and fast paced environment.
• Can work as part of a team and independently.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability to work under cover and in open air environments.
• A willingness to learn and develop skillset. 

  
Qualifications

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Construction White Card
• High Risk Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
