We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate our building manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day production activities, support a team of employees and contractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will be responsible for managing labour, coordinating materials and contractors, monitoring schedules, and driving continuous improvement across the production process. You’ll also play a key role in supporting team development, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing activities with a strong safety focus
- Ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards
- Improve production efficiency through better processes and methods
- Lead pre‑start meetings and provide clear direction to the team
- Coordinate materials, contractors, and services to meet project needs
- Support and train team members, including apprentices
- Monitor labour hours, overtime, and project budgets
- Identify re‑work issues and drive corrective actions
- Ensure drawings, documentation, and instructions are up to date
- Maintain strong WHSEQ standards
What You’ll Bring - Experience in modular building construction
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and safely
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for outcomes
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and basic project management software
