Join us as a Scheduler and Planner, manage schedules and resources across three modular factories.
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Scheduler and Planner to join our Derrimut team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth scheduling and planning across three modular construction factories. You’ll work closely with production teams, project managers, and stakeholders to optimise resources, manage timelines, and deliver accurate forecasts that keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production and tender schedules.
- Forecast labour, resources, and yard capacity for current and upcoming projects.
- Create yard maps and monitor floor space to avoid overlaps or delays.
- Conduct daily yard walks to update schedules and release manufacturing metrics.
- Benchmark projects against baselines and identify efficiency improvements.
- Maintain slab delivery schedules and ensure compliance with management systems.
- Provide timely reporting and support continuous improvement initiatives.
About You You will have experience in planning and scheduling within construction or manufacturing environments and thrive in fast-paced settings. You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Your strong communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, and you’re confident working independently while following established processes.
What You’ll Bring - 2–3 years’ experience in a similar planning or scheduling role (modular construction highly regarded).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and risk management.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain quality under pressure.
- Knowledge of building industry operational requirements.
- Commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality outcomes.
