Reporting to the General Manager of Technology, this role is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of cyber security frameworks, controls, and assurance across the business.
You’ll partner closely with stakeholders to reduce risk, strengthen systems and infrastructure, respond to threats, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. This position can be based in any of our SA, QLD, NSW, or WA office locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead secure‑by‑design technology development and guide system architecture and infrastructure improvements.
- Implement best‑practice cyber security standards, controls, and procedures across the business.
- Oversee network, device, and application security to enhance resilience and minimise risk.
- Develop and maintain enterprise cyber security, governance, and risk management programs.
- Manage security incidents, threat monitoring, and the organisation’s response capability.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on risk, compliance, contract obligations, and technology decisions.
- Drive improvements to IT policies, procedures, and administration, ensuring consistent governance.
- Lead security awareness initiatives and training programs for employees and contractors.

- Proven experience delivering and implementing cyber security solutions across complex environments.
- Strong technical expertise across Microsoft technologies, Azure security, and network systems.
- Working knowledge of modern security frameworks (ISO, NIST) and contemporary risk‑management practices.
- Clear, influential communication skills with the ability to guide stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and embed effective security policies, standards, and controls.
- Tertiary qualification in IT or a related field, ideally supported by Microsoft Azure certification.
