About the Role
As a Welding and Fabrication Apprentice, you’ll gain practical skills in welding and metal fabrication within an innovative modular building environment while completing your nationally recognised qualification. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople, learning modern techniques and contributing to real projects that make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components for modular buildings using modern techniques.
- Support tradespeople in assembling and finishing metal structures in a factory workshop setting.
- Complete formal off-the-job training with accredited training organisations.
- Follow all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures.
- Maintain good attendance, reliability, and contribute positively to a team-focused culture of quality and safety.
About You You’re motivated, reliable, and eager to learn. You enjoy working with your hands and take pride in producing quality work. You thrive in a team environment and are committed to completing your apprenticeship successfully.
What You’ll Bring - A genuine interest in welding and fabrication.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Current Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Commitment to completing both on-the-job and formal training requirements.
