About the role
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for the accurate dispatching, invoicing, and preparation of products within the Camec Warehouse. This role supports the smooth flow of outgoing freight, manages documentation, assists with stock control, and ensures a clean, safe, and well‑organised work environment at all times.
You’ll work closely with the warehouse team to maintain high service standards, meet dispatch timeframes, and uphold strong WHSEQ compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Ship and invoice all customer orders accurately and on time
- Manage consigning and coordination of outgoing freight
- Assist with stock control, workflow management, and scorecard tasks
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders, including dangerous goods when required
- Use company systems to check stock, print labels, and generate worksheets
- Maintain high customer service levels with internal and external stakeholders
- Support general office tasks including supply ordering and end‑of‑month rollovers
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised warehouse spaces
About you You’re a team player with strong time management skills, an eye for detail and a positive, proactive attitude. You enjoy a busy environment, communicate well, and take pride in delivering quality work.
What you’ll bring - LF Forklift licence
- Understanding of warehousing or logistics processes
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (MS Office)
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Good time management and ability to prioritise
- Positive, approachable attitude
- Energy and enthusiasm for hands‑on work
- Experience within a warehousing or transport environment
