An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Front-End Developer to join a dynamic team working on a high-profile digital transformation initiative. This role will contribute to the development of high-quality digital services that enhance efficiency and improve user experience.

As a Front-End Developer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for defining, designing, developing, and delivering digital products. The position will focus on building and configuring software applications that support business objectives and streamline processes through technology.

The role requires office attendance at least three days a week, with a primary location in Parramatta. Occasional travel across Greater Sydney and regional NSW may be required.

• Develop high-quality front-end applications using ReactJS/TypeScript for Single Page Applications (SPA) and Progressive Web Applications (PWA).

• Prepare and optimise specialised code to support application development.

• Conduct testing and gather feedback to refine applications and minimise operational risks.

• Design components using best-practice modelling techniques, ensuring alignment with agreed architectures, standards, and methodologies.

• Identify and evaluate alternative design solutions to meet stakeholder requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and document reusable ReactJS component libraries.

• Maintain thorough documentation using Storybook, ensuring clarity and consistency across the development lifecycle.

• Utilise JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket/Git for project tracking and version control.

• Apply expertise in HTML and CSS to create seamless and responsive user interfaces.

• Work within Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

• Engage with stakeholders, including vendors, to drive project outcomes within budget and timeline constraints.

• 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer, specialising in ReactJS/TypeScript.

• Proficiency with ReactJS libraries such as react-dom, react-query, react-router, and openapi-typescript-codegen.

• Strong background in rapid prototyping for user experience testing.

• Extensive experience with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket/Git).

• Understanding of testing methodologies and experience working within both Waterfall and Agile frameworks.

• Ability to work independently and within a team, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging both internal teams and external vendors.
