Overview This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance to join a well-established Australian brand that's continuing to grow — both locally and internationally.
They're looking for someone who wants to be part of the journey, not just report on it. Someone who enjoys being in the business, working alongside good people, and having a real say in how things are done.
You'll sit as part of the leadership team, partnering closely with the General Manager and wider business to help shape strategy, improve performance, and support the next phase of growth.
Just as importantly, you'll be joining a team that values trust, autonomy, and a down-to-earth way of working. This isn't a "suit and tie" environment or a place for micromanagement — it's a business built on strong relationships, where people are given the space to do their jobs well.
The role This is a broad, hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of the finance function across retail, eCommerce, wholesale, and a growing international footprint.
You'll be close to the detail when needed, but also thinking strategically — helping the business understand where it's making money, where it can improve, and how it can scale.
A key part of the role is supporting their wholesale and international operations. This includes working through the realities of selling into global partners, managing overseas shipping, and understanding how foreign exchange and landed costs impact margins when bringing stock into Australia.
Alongside this, you'll lead an established team, creating alignment, building capability, and continuing to improve systems and reporting without overcomplicating things.
What you'll be doing - Leading financial strategy and performance across multiple revenue channels
- Partnering with leadership to support decision-making and growth initiatives
- Driving profitability across product, channel, and category
- Managing inventory, purchasing, and working capital in a supply chain-driven environment
- Supporting wholesale and international operations, including FX and global logistics
- Overseeing multi-entity reporting and financial operations
- Building clear, practical reporting that people across the business can actually use
- Leading and developing a capable, down-to-earth team
About you You're a strong finance leader, but just as importantly, you're someone people enjoy working with.
You're commercially minded, naturally collaborative, and comfortable being part of the wider business — not sitting on the sidelines. You know how to balance strategy with being hands-on, and you take ownership without needing to control every detail.
You'll likely bring experience from retail, eCommerce, wholesale, or another inventory-led environment, with a solid understanding of how supply chains, purchasing, and margins all connect.
Experience with wholesale and international trade is important — particularly around overseas suppliers or customers, shipping, and how foreign exchange impacts the numbers.
Above all, you're someone who leads with trust, communicates clearly, and enjoys building a positive, high-performing team environment.
What's on offer - A key leadership role with real influence across the business
- The opportunity to grow with a well-established Australian brand
- A supportive, down-to-earth culture that values autonomy and trust
- A business where you can make an impact without unnecessary layers or red tape
- Competitive salary package, including STI
