We're currently partnering with a growing retail and e-commerce business to appoint a Head of Marketing. We're specifically looking for someone with a strong background in retail and e-commerce, along with deep capability across digital, content, and performance marketing.
This is a key leadership role for a commercially driven marketing professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about building brand, driving revenue, and creating high-quality content at scale. You will take full ownership of the marketing function, from strategy and budget through to execution and optimisation, with a strong focus on consistent content creation and data-led decision making.
The Opportunity This role will see you lead a developing team while remaining close to the detail, driving outcomes across digital, content, and performance marketing. There is a strong emphasis on storytelling, brand engagement, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Own and deliver the end-to-end marketing strategy aligned to revenue growth.
- Lead, develop, and scale a growing internal marketing team (currently around 5 people).
- Drive a content-first approach across website, social, and digital channels.
- Oversee performance marketing, including tracking, reporting, and optimisation.
- Turn data and insights into clear, actionable campaigns.
- Manage campaign planning, including product launches and seasonal activity.
- Own the marketing budget and drive strong ROI.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Shape and evolve the brand through storytelling and engagement.
What We're Looking For - Proven experience in a Head of Marketing or Senior Marketing Leadership role.
- Strong background in retail and e-commerce.
- Deep capability across digital, content, and performance marketing.
- A commercial mindset with a clear focus on revenue growth.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics, customer acquisition, and ROI.
- Experience working with external agencies.
- Exposure to community or wholesale marketing is a bonus.
