SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant (FICO)

An opportunity is available for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to deliver high-quality finance solutions with a strong focus on Fixed Assets and Project Accounting (Project Systems).
  
This role will see you working closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimise finance processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring best-practice solutions and successful project outcomes.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure end-to-end Fixed Assets and Project Accounting (Project Systems) processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support broader finance functions including GL, AP, AR, and Controlling as required.
• Lead or support fit-to-standard workshops to gather requirements and align solutions with SAP best practices.
• Produce functional specifications, system design documentation, and data mapping for integrations.
• Configure and maintain finance master data.
• Ensure effective integration with third-party systems.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and guide business users on optimal SAP finance practices.
• Engage stakeholders through workshops, training, and ongoing support.

  
Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• Proven experience in at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Deep hands-on expertise in:
  
  • Fixed Assets
  • Project Systems (Project Accounting)
• Strong end-to-end knowledge of finance business processes and SAP standard functionality.
• Experience running workshops and engaging business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  
Desirable

• Exposure to Group Reporting.
• Experience across additional finance modules and integrations.

  
Work Environment

• Hybrid working model with flexibility.
• Must be based in Australia.
