Our client is seeking a highly experienced Data Architect on a daily rate contract to play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding their evolving data strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and provide immediate value, helping design the roadmap for a major migration program.
What you'll be doing:
Reviewing and providing guidance on the client's data strategy and architecture.
Defining components/applications, their roles, data flows, vendor-specific elements (data lake/warehouse, visualisation tools, semantic and governance layers).
Supporting the estimation and scoping work to establish program starting points for migrating off BW into a third-party data lake/warehouse.
Leveraging prior experience to help shape a clear, achievable roadmap with realistic estimates and frameworks.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Data Architect, with deep knowledge of data platforms, architecture, and strategy.
Strong expertise in data migration programs, ideally having led or shaped a transition off BW into a modern 3rd party data lake/warehouse.
Ability to break down complex data strategies into actionable detail.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to provide guidance to senior leaders.
Availability to start immediately - candidates with a notice period cannot be considered.

Daily rate contract engagement.
