Business Development Manager – VIC & TAS Territory
$120k–$130k + $22k Car Allowance + Commission

A well-regarded Australian organisation in the healthcare and assistive technology space is expanding its sales team and looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to take ownership of the VIC and TAS territory.
 
With a strong reputation across aged care, hospitals, disability services, and community care, this company delivers world-class equipment and service solutions that genuinely improve people’s lives.
The Opportunity
 
This is a field-based sales role with full ownership of a well-established territory. You’ll focus on building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across both metro and regional Victoria, with occasional travel to Tasmania.
 
This is not a typical sales role — it suits someone who is highly consultative, purpose-driven, and energised by making a real impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing relationships across hospitals, nursing homes, disability services, and private care providers
• Work consultatively to understand client needs and offer tailored equipment solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle and take accountability for KPIs and outcomes
• Represent a respected and values-driven organisation with a national footprint
• Plan and prioritise activity across the territory to maximise commercial impact

About You
 
We’re looking to connect with experienced sales professionals who bring a mix of empathy, ambition, and purpose. You’re someone who:

• Has a proven track record in business development or solution-based sales in the Healthcare Industry
• Builds trust quickly and takes pride in delivering value to clients
• Is self-directed, highly motivated, and comfortable managing a large territory
• Thrives in a people-focused, purpose-led environment
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills and is confident using digital tools/CRM systems

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across VIC and TAS
• Flu and triple COVID-19 vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to complete a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working With Children Check
• Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical (at the employer’s expense)

Salary & Benefits

• Base salary: $120k–$130k (depending on experience)
• Car allowance: $22k
• Commission: Uncapped with Up to $20k+ for hitting annual targets (new structure currently being finalised)
