SAP EAM Consultant (6-Month Contract) with a view of extending a further 6 months | Support & Enhancements Focus
We are working with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced SAP EAM Consultant to join their team on a 6-month contract, starting 1st July, with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a support-focused environment and enjoys liaising with both technical teams and business users.
�� About the Role:
This position is not a project role — it is centred on support and enhancements to existing SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system stability, managing small-scale improvements, and providing expert support across various functional areas.
�� Location & Working Arrangement:
•Office-based work is required at least 50% of the time
•Pyrmont on Wednesdays (with the technical team)
•Greenacre on other days (liaising with customers and functional peers)
•Standard workday: 8 hours
•Contracted on a day rate
�� Key Responsibilities:
•Hands-on configuration of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
•Writing and executing unit test scripts; coordinating UAT
•Liaising closely with business stakeholders and technical teams
•Conducting workshops and gathering business requirements
•Writing detailed functional specifications
•Supporting interfaces with internal systems and external platforms
�� Key Skills & Experience:
• In-depth SAP PM configuration experience
•Strong understanding of SAP MM integration (materials and purchasing)
•Experience coordinating and participating in testing phases
•Exposure to SAP RE (Real Estate) integration is highly desirable
•Familiarity with SAP UI5 and web-based interfaces
•Solid business analysis experience including documentation and workshops
•Understanding of system interfaces and data flows
•Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
