An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Contracts Administrator and Senior Contracts Administrator to join a major infrastructure environment, supporting the administration and commercial management of contracts across a portfolio of complex projects.

The Opportunity
This is a 6-month contract offering an attractive day rate. Working within a collaborative project team in a hybrid environment, you will manage contract administration activities across multiple projects, ensuring contractual obligations are understood, risks are identified and supplier performance is effectively managed. The roles require candidates who are highly detail-oriented and comfortable working across a significant volume of contracts and contractual documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer infrastructure contracts and ensure compliance with contractual, legislative and governance requirements.
• Manage and administer contracts across complex road infrastructure projects, with experience across Design & Construct (D&C), Construct Only.
• Review and assess variations and claims, helping resolve contractual and commercial issues with project teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare and review contractual correspondence, notices and documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and commercial risk.
• Monitor contractor and supplier performance, including deliverables, costs, risks and contract compliance.
• Support tender activities, evaluations, supplier engagement and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate contract records, reporting and documentation across multiple concurrent projects.
• Work closely with project teams and internal and external stakeholders to identify risks and achieve value-for-money outcomes.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated contract administration experience within infrastructure projects.
• Road infrastructure experience is highly desirable, particularly exposure to Design & Construct and Construct Only delivery models.
• Experience working across a high volume of contracts and concurrent projects.
• Strong understanding of contract and procurement processes, risk management and contractual compliance
• Strong comprehension and the ability to read, interpret and understand complex contracts thoroughly.
• Experience with claims, variations, contractor performance and contractual correspondence
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.

• Hybrid working model: 3 days office, 1 day WFH, 1 day onsite
• Join a team of 40 infrastructure professionals
• Support a portfolio of approximately 40 active projects
• Projects are already in delivery, allowing you to make an immediate impact
