• 7 month fixed term contract
• Sydney based - 3/4 days in office per week
• CMS platforms experience including Optimizely, SharePoint Online and Drupal
• Hands-on HTML, CSS and digital content publishing experience

We are seeking an experienced Web Content Officer to provide web content production and publishing support within a large, complex organisation.

This is a hands-on role focused on preparing, formatting, reviewing and publishing authorised content across public websites, staff intranets and web applications. This would be working in the policy team and a lot of the work is updating policy content, but also providing a last step quality control check on content prepared by others.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and publishing content across websites, intranets and web applications
• Developing and maintaining content using HTML and CSS
• Publishing content through CMS platforms including Optimizely, Drupal and SharePoint Online
• Reviewing supplied content for editorial, formatting, accessibility, functionality and design issues
• Working with content owners to clarify requirements, resolve issues and obtain approval before publishing
• Maintaining the quality and integrity of existing web content and code

Essential Criteria

• Professional experience using HTML and CSS, ideally in accordance with W3C standards
• Experience publishing content through content management systems
• Exposure to Optimizely, Drupal and SharePoint Online
• Sound knowledge of web publishing, writing for the web and web accessibility
• Strong design and layout skills across online content, forms, tables, Word and PDF documents
