Lead procurement transformation initiatives
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Procurement Lead to join a high-profile transformation program for an initial 3-6 month contract in Sydney.
This role will play a key part in leading procurement and materials management initiatives within a complex SAP environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to drive successful delivery across procurement processes, solution design, and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP MM workstreams across project and enhancement initiatives
Partner with business stakeholders to define procurement requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
Provide expertise across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
Design, configure, and support SAP MM solutions
Lead workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions
Coordinate testing, UAT, defect management, and deployment activities
Collaborate with SAP functional teams including FI/CO, SD, WM/EWM, and Ariba where applicable
Provide leadership, guidance, and best-practice recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
Manage risks, issues, and stakeholder communications
Skills Required:
You will be a seasoned SAP procurement professional with a strong background delivering SAP MM solutions within large-scale enterprise environments. Required Skills & Experience
Strong SAP MM experience
Proven experience as a Lead Consultant, Solution Lead, or Functional Lead
Deep knowledge of SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay processes
Strong experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor management
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or transformations
Experience leading workshops and engaging senior business stakeholders
Strong functional design, configuration, and testing expertise
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
