We're partnering with a leading enterprise organisation undertaking a large-scale customer communications transformation programme and are seeking an experienced SmartCOMM Developer to join their technology team.


Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain SmartCOMM templates and communication solutions
• Create customer correspondence across insurance products and services
• Integrate SmartCOMM with enterprise platforms using Java and REST APIs
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Support document generation, batch processing and digital communications
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts and product teams
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps and best-practice software engineering initiatives
• Provide ongoing support, optimisation and enhancement of communication platforms

Essential Requirements:

• Proven commercial experience with Smart Communications (SmartCOMM)
• Strong Java development expertise including Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Experience working with AWS cloud services
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and enterprise integrations
• Understanding of customer communications management (CCM) platforms
• Insurance industry experience covering policy, claims or customer servicing functions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills

Highly Regarded:

• SmartCOMM Cloud / SaaS experience
• Guidewire, Duck Creek, Salesforce or Pega integrations
• Terraform or CloudFormation
• DevOps and CI/CD experience
• AWS or Smart Communications certifications
• Experience delivering insurance transformation or document migration programmes
