We're partnering with a major Federal Government organisation undertaking a large-scale SAP transformation and are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of technical workstreams across SAP BTP, ABAP and S/4HANA.

This role is suited to a technically strong Project Manager who understands SAP architecture and custom development, and has successfully led complex SAP technical projects in enterprise environments. You'll work closely with solution architects, SAP developers, integration specialists, infrastructure teams and implementation partners to deliver critical technical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of SAP technical projects across SAP BTP, ABAP development, integrations and S/4HANA.
Manage technical workstreams including custom development, enhancements, extensions, interfaces and migration activities.
Coordinate SAP technical teams, implementation partners and third-party vendors.
Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and governance.
Work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with enterprise architecture.
Oversee delivery of SAP BTP services including integrations, extensions and cloud-based development.
Manage project reporting, RAID registers, steering committee updates and executive communications.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to agreed quality standards.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering complex SAP technical projects in large enterprise or Federal Government environments.
Strong understanding of SAP BTP, ABAP development, custom enhancements and SAP integration technologies.
Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade or transformation programs.
Ability to engage effectively with technical teams, architects, developers and senior business stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of project governance, delivery methodologies and vendor management.
Experience managing multiple technical workstreams, dependencies and delivery risks.
PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification is highly regarded.
Current Australian Baseline Security Clearance is essential.
