A leading telecommunciations company is seeking for an experienced Security Design Engineer who will be working closely with the Architecture team to design and deliver advanced security engineering capabilities.
You will focus on building Artificial Intelligence (AI) based cyber security solutions including developing AI-driven attack and defensive capabilities, and the development of a scalable security controls.
The role involves translating security requirements and documentation into high-level and low-level designs, while ensuring alignment with enterprise security architecture and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Architecture team to design and implement security engineering solutions.
Contribute to AI-driven offensive and defensive security engineering initiatives.
Build AI-based attack simulation capabilities that emulate adversary behaviours.
Develop defensive capabilities including behavioural analytics, anomaly detection, and predictive threat modelling.
Convert working manuals and documentation into high-level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD).
Integrate attack simulation outputs into operational defence systems and security tooling.
Support deployment and optimisation of defensive cybersecurity tools and platforms.
Collaborate with penetration testers, red teams, and adversary emulation specialists.
Convert offensive findings into engineered defensive improvements.
Ensure alignment with enterprise security architecture and standards.
Key Requirements:
Prior experience working as a Security Design Engineer, Security Architect, or Solutions Architect.
Strong focus on security architecture and design.
Experience producing high-level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD).
Solid background across multiple cybersecurity domains.
Experience deploying defensive and cybersecurity tooling.
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to security is desirable.
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Contract Rate: $1,000 per Day (incl. super)
