About the role
We’re seeking a capable and intuitive Personal Assistant to support our Tax Partners and wider Tax team during a 12‑month maternity leave cover. This is a trusted role where your organisational skills, sound judgement and proactive mindset will be key to keeping the team operating smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll be someone who enjoys variety, can anticipate needs, and takes pride in being the go‑to support person in a busy professional services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support including diary management, travel coordination, meeting organisation and confidential correspondence
- Prepare, format and distribute a range of documents such as proposals, client letters, reports, presentations, invoices and internal communications
- Coordinate billing processes, timesheets, expenses and reporting to support the smooth financial administration of the Tax team
- Manage operational tasks including client onboarding, document management, filing systems, mail and database upkeep
- Support partners and the wider team with ad-hoc administration, workflow coordination and team initiatives as required
Skills and experience - Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Personal Assistant or senior administrator, ideally supporting multiple leaders
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence
- Experience with billing, invoicing, timesheets or other financial and reporting administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong spelling and grammar
- Professional, discreet and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
