The Company
This is a well known SA food manufacturing business with a strong reputation for delivering excellence in quality and service. They are offering a rare opportunity for a Leading Hand or Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career, with structured training and support provided.

Your Role
As a hands-on Team Leader, you'll support the production team on the factory floor, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Duties include:

• Leading, motivating and supporting the production team
• Scheduling orders for production and ensuring raw materials used are accurate and in line with customer and industry expectations
• Monitoring team performance and providing coaching and feedback
• Maintaining a positive, safe and collaborative team culture
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Engineering teams
• Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment

About You
You might be a current Leading Hand or Supervisor in Food Production who's reached their ceiling in their current workplace.  You'll demonstrate:

• Experience in manufacturing (ideally Food Production)
• Previous experience as the Senior person on the production team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
