Due to significant growth and success, together with bodacious plans to continue growing, we are seeking a commercially minded Events & Fundraising Coordinator to lead this high-impact role in the education sector.
Your Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will take ownership of developing and executing fundraising initiatives, securing corporate partnerships, and driving engagement across South Australian schools. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering strategic fundraising campaigns
- Leading sales initiatives and partner with the marketing team
- Booking and coordinating events, workshops and community seminars
- Presenting and selling programs to school leadership teams
- Building long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and corporate partners
- Identifying sponsorship and revenue growth opportunities
- Managing event delivery, including some evening commitments
About You You possess strong personal values, love people and genuinely enjoy picking up the phone, booking meetings, presenting confidently and closing opportunities. You’re highly organised and drive, and you have:
- Proven experience in non-profit, education, or purpose-led organisations
- Strong sales capability and confidence in outbound engagement
- The ability to influence principals, boards and decision-makers
- Commercial discipline, pipeline management, targets, follow-up
- A natural alignment with community-centred values and service-based leadership
- Energy, professionalism and personal integrity
Other Details The position is full-time, office based and hybrid. Due to the nature of the role, you must have a WWCC and the ability to be available some evenings and weekends. Remuneration guide is $80-90K + Super + Company Car, Laptop, Phone and Expense Card.
