Your Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, our client is seeking a dedicated and customer-centric Area Sales Representative to play a key role. You will be responsible for selling to, managing and growing a portfolio of customers, and providing them with appropriate information, assistance and solutions to drive sales and deliver top-line revenue and gross profit growth. Daily duties will require you to;

• Develop and maintain positive business relationships with account customers within a designated sales territory (Area)
• Develop and follow an annual business plan for the Area to grow sales
• Manage a monthly call cycle to service all customers and maintain accurate and up to date call lists
• Prospect, present, promote and sell products and services into new accounts within the Area
• Develop and implement plans to reconnect inactive customers
• Achieve monthly and annual sales budgets and targets
• Process customer orders and credits. Minimise credits by accurately assessing customer requirements
• Expedite the resolution of customer issues and complaints to maximise satisfaction
• Assist in all office and clerical duties including stock takes as required
• Submit reports relating to activities within the area as requested
• Supply management with feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, market conditions and potential for new products and services

  
Other Details
This role is fulltime Monday - Friday, and is located in the North/Western suburbs, with Bonuses, Company Vehicle, Phone and Laptop Supplied.  The salary is commensurate with skills and experience.

• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Sound industry and product knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Excellent selling, relationship management and negotiation skills
• Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Be clean, well-groomed and wear the company provided uniform
• Must have current driver’s license
