The Opportunity 
We are thrilled to represent this industry leader in Fresh Produce, who are experiencing steady growth.  As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth operation of their machinery, equipment and facilities, ensuring that their electrical systems run seamlessly. This permanent, full-time role based in the Northern suburbs offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact and develop your electrical expertise in a thriving business.

Your Role
You'll repoft to the Maintenance Manager, and be an integral part of a high-performing team, enjoying the autonomy to shape your role and make it your own, as well as contribute to the growth and success of a family-owned business.  You will also:

• Diagnose & repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns for swift restoration of operations.
•  Install & commission new electrical equipment (wiring, controls, automation).
•  Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with teams for process improvements and upgrades.
• Assist with shutdowns & project work as required 

About You

• Unrestricted SA Electrical Licence with solid experience 
• Experience in Farm/Food production equipment desirable 
• Demonstrated experience in compliance with OHS policies & procedures throughout day-to-day activity
• Experience with VSD systems 
• Ability to remain calm when under high pressure situations whilst understanding the urgency of situations
• Great team player
• Willing and able to work on call 24/7 (as required for emergencies)
