The Opportunity 
We are thrilled to represent this industry leading in the fast moving food production industry. As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth operation of their state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that their electrical systems run seamlessly. This permanent, full-time role based in the northern suburbs offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact and develop your electrical expertise in a thriving business.

Your Role
You'll work closely with Plant Maintenance Leadership and be an integral part of a high-performing team, enjoying the autonomy to shape your role and make it your own as well as contribute to the growth and success of a family-owned business.  You will also:

• Inspect electrical systems regularly to identify potential issues
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, motors, switches, and other electrical components
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices
• Install new electrical systems or upgrade old ones
• Follow current safety regulations and electrical codes
• Maintain lighting systems, control panels, circuit breakers, and generators
• Keep records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules
• Formal Qualifications in Electrical suitable to Australian standards

About You

• Relevant Trade Qualifications in Electrical with solid experience in local Australian standards
• Demonstrated experience in compliance with OHS policies & procedures throughout day-to-day activity
• Ability to remain calm when under high pressure situations whilst understanding the urgency of situations
• Great team player
• Willing and able to work on call 24/7
