Your Role:
As an Auto Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in the heart of the service operations, diagnosing and repairing a variety of electrical systems in heavy vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that every electrical component runs smoothly, delivering top-notch efficiency, safety, and satisfaction to valued customers. You’ll be a crucial part of a team dedicated to maintaining the high standards that make this company stand out from the competition. Your Responsibilities will include the following:
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and components of vehicles.
- Install accessories as specified on repair orders.
- Provide expert advice on vehicle electrical systems.
- Identify additional work required and provide accurate time and labour estimates.
- Perform inspections and test drives to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
- Use OEM diagnostic tools and circuit diagrams to complete repairs.
- Maintain detailed reports on all work performed, including parts used and recommendations.
- Work efficiently to ensure that vehicles are repaired and returned to customers promptly.
- Ensure workshop equipment, tools, and vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
- Support and mentor apprentice technicians.
- Promote safety and follow all company WHS policies and processes.
Other Details The position is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday with overtime available. You will have access to a Dynamic and Supportive work environment and the possibility of career growth, and the business continues to progress.

About You: - Previous experience as an auto electrician, preferably in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience using dealer management systems (DMS).
- Knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles, including wiring, circuits, and accessories.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.
- Valid HR/HC Driver’s License.
