Your Role:
As a Power BI Administrator, you will form an integral part of the IT & Securities Team and the Accounting & Finance Team, and manage the cohesion and streamlining of information across all sites. You’ll work directly with the accounting team to transform complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights using Power BI. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where your influence will drive the decision-making process. Duties and responsibilities require you to;
- Develop, manage, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support accounting and business needs.
- Work with accountants to gather and transfer data from multiple sites into centralised reports.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and dashboards.
- Manage and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with the IT&S Team and the Accounting & Finance Team to integrate various systems and ensure seamless data flow.
- Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving for database and reporting issues.
- Provide hands-on support and training to team members as required.
- Work autonomously, ensuring projects are completed on time with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies, including handling sensitive data.
- Report directly to the IT & Securities Manager, keeping them informed of progress and challenges.
Other Details
The position is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday. Given the nature of the new role, you will have a supportive work environment with career growth as the business continues to progress. The remuneration package is circa $110K depending on experience. Relevant licencing, security and police clearances are required.
About You: - Highly motivated and skilled Power BI Administrator with experience in working across various departments, ideally Finance & IT
- Strong ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that translate easily to the wider workforce
- Excellent understanding of data management, reporting, and database optimisation.
- Proficient in working with cross-functional teams, particularly with accounting and IT teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to work autonomously in a hands-on, fast-paced, and rapidly growing business environment.
- Adaptable and ready to thrive in an evolving and dynamic industry.
