Your Role
The role reports to the Senior Construction Manager and works closely with executive leadership to deliver excellence across the commercial construction sector. You will be accountable for effectively managing the delivery of projects across various locations in accordance with specified timeframes, contract specifications and budget. This will include planning, managing, coordinating, and tracking the progress of projects, and ensuring both client management and quality management standards are maintained at all times. On a daily basis your role will require you to;
- Achieve build schedule targets to drive revenue
- Manage call ups, trade allocations, and site deliveries in accordance with expected schedules
- Oversee the completion of on-site work to time, cost and quality standards
- Obtain and coordinate trades and supply to achieve capacity targets
- Achieve quality standards and minimise maintenance targets
- Work to maintain sustainable systems and processes that support efficient management of workflow from the commencement of a build through to completion
- Play a leading role in the implementation of internal systems to improve efficiency and productivity
- Manage the building quality assurance program in conjunction with the management team
- Ensure that repetitive material or labour matters are resolved
- Ensure that matters of process or documentation issues are refined and corrected in the core delivery process
About You
- At least 3 years of experience in Commercial Site Management (Residential experience may be considered if Multi-Dwellings are part of the repertoire)
- Excellent personal presentation skills
- The ability to handle high pressure situations with calm and ease
- Excellent relationship skills and the ability to build rapport with all people including trades, suppliers and internal teams
- Excellent skills in the use of modern technology and back-of-house systems
- A demonstrated history in delivering commercial properties to high standards and excellence in customer service
- A professional disposition and ability to work with the Executive Team where required
