Oracle Fusion Functional Lead (Finance & Projects)
 
Our client is kicking off design workshops with DXC for an Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation covering Finance (ERP, EPM), Procurement (SCM), and Projects (PPM). They need a Functional Lead who can cover both Finance and Projects to support design decisions during workshops, starting immediately.
This is short-term support while the client finds a longer-term option — so speed to start is critical.

• Duration: 4-12 weeks from end of March 2026
• Commitment: Full-time during the workshop period
• Location: Remote
• SI partner

What the Person Will Be Doing

• Participating in Oracle Fusion Cloud design workshops alongside SI Partner across Finance and Projects streams
• Providing functional guidance on GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management, EPM, project costing, project budgeting, and project billing
• Representing the client's interests and challenging design assumptions where needed
• Ensuring integration points between Finance, Projects, and Procurement are addressed coherently in design decisions
• Helping Gippsland Water's team understand trade-offs and make informed configuration decisions

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (ERP) functional experience — GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management
• Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM functional experience — project costing, budgeting, billing
• Has participated in or led design/blueprint workshops on at least one Oracle Fusion implementation covering both Finance and Projects
• Understands the integration between PPM, ERP, and SCM (how project costs flow through to GL, how procurement integrates with project commitments)
• Can operate as a trusted advisor to the client — guiding decisions, not just documenting requirements
• Available to start within days, not weeks

Desirable Skills & Experience

• EPM experience (planning, budgeting, consolidation) — the scope includes EPM
• Utility, water, or public sector implementation experience
• Experience working alongside a tier-1 SI
