Specialist Cleaning Operative
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary 6-Week Contract. 6 days per week. Days/Nights.
Pay Rate: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
AGS Recruitment is seeking experienced and professional Specialist Cleaning Operatives to support projects within high-end, prestigious environments across Chichester and the surrounding areas.
This role involves delivering exceptional cleaning standards within premium settings, using specialist cleaning materials, equipment and techniques to maintain the highest levels of presentation and cleaning standards.
Candidates holding industry-recognised qualifications, including IPAF 3B, will be eligible for the higher rate of pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out specialist cleaning activities within prestigious commercial environments.
- Use specialist cleaning products, machinery, and materials safely and effectively.
- Clean and maintain high-value fixtures, fittings, glass, surfaces, and architectural features to exceptional standards.
- Operate access equipment where qualified and authorised.
- Adhere to all site-specific health and safety procedures and client requirements.
- Complete tasks efficiently whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality and attention to detail.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, defects, or health and safety concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience within specialist, commercial, facilities management or high-specification cleaning environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
- Good understanding of safe working practices and COSHH regulations.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Full UK driving licence advantageous but not essential.
