CUSTOMER SALES ADMIN | £30K P/A | LONDON | FULL TIME
 
We are looking for a confident, commercially minded Customer Sales Specialist to join our Operations Support team in London.
 
This is a fast-paced, sales-focused position where you will take ownership of incoming leads, follow up on quotations, speak directly with customers and help convert opportunities into confirmed sales and purchase orders.
 
You will work closely with our technicians, surveyors, managers and customers, acting as an important link between our operational teams and client base.
 
The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and email, confident handling objections and motivated by achieving sales targets.
 
Customer Sales Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a pipeline of sales leads from initial enquiry through to confirmed sale, including proactive follow-up of outstanding quotations via phone and email.
• Handle inbound customer enquiries relating to quotations, services and existing sales opportunities, providing a professional and helpful service throughout the sales process.
• Generate quotations and convert leads into confirmed work and purchase orders, confidently handling price objections and communicating the value of our services.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant services.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales journey.
• Support field technicians with pricing, sales enquiries and lead-generation procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, lead and quotation information within the CRM system, tracking sales activity, lead progression and outstanding opportunities.
• Produce sales reports covering lead volumes, conversion rates and outstanding quotations.
• Process confirmed sales and coordinate appointments with customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale through to completion.
• Work closely with surveyors, technicians, managers and other departments to ensure work progresses efficiently from sale through to completion.
• Provide guidance and support to Customer Service Representatives when identifying and managing sales opportunities.

Customer Sales Specialist Requirements:
Essential:

• Previous experience working within a target-driven sales environment.
• A proven ability to convert leads and close sales, ideally over the phone and email.
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence handling customer objections.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline using a CRM system.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience accurately generating quotations, processing orders and maintaining customer records.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using BigChange or similar workforce management/CRM software.
• Ability to manage a high volume of customer follow-ups while working towards monthly or quarterly targets.
