POST ROOM ASSISTANT | LONDON | 08:00 - 18:00 | £14.80 P/H | MONDAY-FRIDAY
 
We are currently recruiting for a Post Room Assistant to join the team of one of our major clients in London, working within a university setting.
 
We are looking for someone with previous mailroom, post room, logistics, or similar experience, with good IT skills and the ability to work independently in a busy operational environment.
 
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
Location: London
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming post and deliveries.
• Preparing and sending outgoing mail and parcels.
• Ensuring mail and packages are delivered to the correct departments and recipients.
• Handling internal and external deliveries efficiently and professionally.
• Keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing post.
• Using IT systems to record and track deliveries where required.
• Liaising with staff, students, couriers and suppliers.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and secure post room.
• Following all site procedures, including health and safety requirements.
• Supporting with general post room and logistics duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous mailroom, post room, logistics or similar experience is preferred.
• Good IT and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable handling parcels and deliveries throughout the day.
