Pay Rate: £15.35-£16:00 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Options: Days or Nights
Day Shift: 08:00 - 16:00
Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00

About the Role
 
AGS Recruitment is recruiting experienced Deep Cleaning Operatives / Drivers to support a major transport contract across the network.
 
This is a mobile role involving deep and specialist cleaning across a range of operational locations. Operatives will travel between sites as part of a team and therefore must hold a full UK manual driving licence and be confident driving a large H3L3-type commercial vehicle.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
As a Deep Cleaning Operative, your duties will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive deep cleaning across London transport locations.
• Completing intensive cleaning of operational, public and back-of-house areas.
• Using appropriate cleaning equipment, machinery, chemicals and materials safely and effectively.
• Driving company vehicles between locations across the network when required.
• Loading, transporting and unloading cleaning equipment and materials.
• Following daily work schedules and attending different locations depending on operational requirements.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and presentation standards.
• Following COSHH, Health & Safety and site-specific procedures at all times.
• Correctly using and maintaining PPE, cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Reporting defects, hazards, incidents or issues to the relevant supervisor.
• Working effectively as part of a mobile deep-cleaning team.

Essential Requirements
 
Applicants must:

• Have the right to work in the UK and successfully complete all required pre-employment vetting.
• Hold a full, valid UK manual driving licence.
• Have previous experience and be confident driving a large commercial vehicle, ideally H3L3 or similar.
• Be completely accurate and transparent regarding their driving history and licence status.
• Be willing to undergo a full driving licence check as part of the recruitment process.

The role supports the wider network, so flexibility to travel between locations is essential.

Walthamstow | Hackney | Enfield | Willesden | Camden | Watford
 
Candidates do not necessarily need to live in these areas, but must be able to reliably attend their allocated reporting location and work across the network as required.
