GENERAL CLEANER | 6AM-6PM | DAY SHIFT | 4 SHIFTS ON / 4 SHIFTS OFF | £13.45 P/H
 
We are recruiting for General Cleaners to join us and work for our major client in Southwick, Brighton. This role is based on a 4 shifts on / 4 shifts off rota, consisting of 12-hour shifts.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Mopping and sweeping floors
• Litter picking across site
• Toilet and washroom cleaning
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
• Sanitising touchpoints and communal areas
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
• Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
• Following planned cleaning schedules for each shift
• Reporting any maintenance or health & safety concerns
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with procedures
• Maintaining clean and safe working environments at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Previous cleaning experience
• Good communication skills
• An eye for detail
• Customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the site when required
