Mobile Health & Safety Officer (Pest Control Sector)
 
Location: London - Mobile role (covering multiple client sites)
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: £35k-£40k/y depending on experience
 
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Mobile Health & Safety Officer to support pest control operations across various sites. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, carrying out site inspections, and promoting safe working practices across field teams and client locations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular health & safety inspections across multiple pest control sites
• Carry out risk assessments and update method statements where required
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and company policies
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and produce detailed reports with recommendations
• Support pest control technicians with safe working practices and on-site guidance
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to field teams
• Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, and corrective actions
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure safe site conditions
• Monitor use of PPE and ensure correct procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety role (ideally field-based or mobile)
• Strong understanding of UK H&S regulations
• NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) preferred
• Experience within pest control, facilities, cleaning, or FM sectors is an advantage
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential due to mobile nature of the role)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
