For this role, you will be joining our team on the Clean Energy Link North project in Eneabba, a major renewable energy infrastructure project in Western Australia.

The Opportunity

• 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster
• 10.5 hours paid on site
• Pick up and drop off from Malaga - No vehicle required to travel to site
• Work on a major renewable energy infrastructure project
• Site based role with a hands on variety of duties

About the Role

As a Site Yardman, you will play an important role in supporting the project team and keeping the site yard and laydown areas operating efficiently.
Your duties will include:

• Refuelling mobile plant, vehicles and equipment
• Managing fuel and refuelling activities in accordance with site procedures
• Receiving and directing deliveries to the appropriate areas
• Loading and unloading materials, equipment and deliveries
• Moving and positioning materials and equipment around the site
• Maintaining laydown areas, storage areas and the project yard
• Assisting with the movement and organisation of plant and equipment
• Checking, organising and maintaining site materials and stock
• Supporting trades, operators and site crews with materials and equipment as required
• Keeping work areas, access areas and the yard clean, tidy and safe
• Assisting with general site and yard duties as required
• Reporting damaged equipment, stock issues or hazards to the relevant supervisor
• Following all site safety, environmental and project procedures

About You 

• Previous experience as a Yardman, Yard Hand, Site Support or similar role
• Experience working around mobile plant and heavy equipment
• Experience with refuelling plant and equipment
• Strong understanding of site safety requirements
• Good housekeeping and organisational skills
• Ability to work outdoors and undertake manual handling duties
• Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
• A reliable and proactive approach to work

Relevant tickets and licences, such as a forklift licence, HR licence or other plant and equipment tickets, will be highly regarded.
