About the Opportunity
MGC are seeking an experienced Operator to join our team and support the delivery of a rail civil works project in Byford, WA.
  
Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Operating 5-8 tonne rubber tyred excavators
• Operating tracked excavators, skid steer loaders and padfoot rollers
• Completing excavation, backfilling and compaction works to specification
• Conducting pre-start inspections and maintaining equipment in a safe and serviceable condition
• Working independently while ensuring compliance with site safety and quality requirements

This is an opportunity to further develop your skills within the rail infrastructure sector while contributing to the successful delivery of critical transport projects.
  
About you
You're a motivated and reliable operator who takes pride in delivering quality work and thrives in a hands-on construction environment.
You will bring:

• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Demonstrated experience in earthworks, excavation, backfill and compaction activities
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage daily tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
• Proven experience operating:
  • 5-8 tonne Rubber Tyred Excavators
  • Tracked Excavators
  • Skid Steer Loaders
  • Padfoot Rollers

Highly regarded:

• HR Manual Driver's Licence
• ARC and PTA Supervised Safe Worker Accreditation
• Previous experience undertaking civil works within a railway signalling or rail infrastructure environment
• Bulk earthworks experience
