The Role
This role will be site based, working a 14 days on, 7 days off fly in, fly out (FIFO) roster.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Interpret plans and mark out projects;
- Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control;
- Work with machine control to optimise the precision and time frame that works are completed within;
- Perform periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking;
- Undertake asbuilt surveys for project sign off and quantity verification;
- Provide timely and accurate surveys for end of month reporting;
- Produce clear and concise technical reports; and
- Collect, interpret and analyse survey information.
Candidate Criteria - A relevant tertiary Surveying qualification;
- Experience working in a similar position;
- Proficiency in using a range of programs and software such as Trimble Business Centre, 3D Civil and Surpac;
- Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Stations and Trimble Machine Guidance (highly desirable);
- The ability to work a fly in, fly out roster in remote locations;
- Hold a New Zealand Citizenship and ability to obtain a Subclass 444 Visa in Australia; and
- Valid drivers licence.
Relocation
We will support the successful candidate with a relocation package valued at $10,000 AUD to support you settling in as a member of the team.
The package includes:
- A paid flight to Australia;
- 6 months private health coverage;
- 4 weeks total car rental;
- Rental assistance for 3 months; and
- A lump sum to help with initial expenses of relocation.
