The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team and work on remote civil projects in the Northern Territory.
  
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Maintenance Manager will oversee and ensure safe & cost effective maintenance activities on site.
  
Responsibilities will include:

• Leading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;
• Effective planning and managing of resources to ensure the completion of maintenance schedules are on time and within budget;
• Driving operational efficiencies for all maintenance related activities;
• Overseeing the mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment for the project; and
• Providing effective leadership and supervision through ‘on the ground’ presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals.

The successful applicant will have:

• Current drivers’ licence;
• Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade qualification;
• Previous experience in supervisory/management roles;
• Demonstrated experience maintaining Caterpillar, Hitachi mobile equipment; Kenworth and Mack Trucks and a wide range of ancillary gear;
• Previous civil/mining industry experience;
• Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc.;
• Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;
• Confident communication with the ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors;
• Self-motivation with a positive attitude;
• Desire to work in remote locations; and
• A hands-on approach.
