Sales and Client Service Executive
Reports To (title): Sales Manage
To perform Sales and Account Executive responsibilities to drive turnover and margin.
Key Performance Requirements and Duties:
- Greeting clients in/out of showroom, processing sales and buybacks, as well as facilitating collections of precious metals. Ensuring all clients are afforded privacy in consultation rooms where needed.
- Encourage and establish repeat business and further selling opportunities by networking with current clients and their colleagues. Keep up to date with prospective and new client base, whilst researching and building repour to obtain further sales opportunities.
- Updating accounts, individual account follow-up ensuring a discreet and reliable phone manner.
- Encouraging and processing precious metal sales buybacks for accounts trading online and over the phone.
- Occasional office duties and responsibilities
- Assess customer needs and changing needs whilst recommending and explaining goods and services offered
- Seeking further information from prospective clients such as if their purchase is a gift or investment, if they are interested in setting up an SMSF.
- Ensure appropriate authorities are obtained from prospective clients to allow full and free access required to trade.
- Ensure all verification required has been adhered to and all personal documents have been duly scanned, stored in FileMaker before client is activated to trade.
- Provide clients with information regarding precious metals and information on how to buy/sell bullion and services provided
- Contact clients whilst providing exceptional client service after account setup to enquire if they have any questions.
- Ensure FileMaker is kept up to date with all client conversations and any detail changes.
- Receive and screen calls and answer any client queries. Ensure follow up with clients to ensure product and services meet expectations and help to resolve queries and concerns throughout the sales and customer service process.
- Coordinate the implementation of authority forms and other documents signed by the client. Documents scanned & entered into FileMaker. Provide administrative reporting as required throughout the process.
- Assist with stocktake, set up and pack down of the showroom.
- Manage a pipeline of new clients with an outbound call and email campaign to establish their needs and provide a solution and walk them through first transaction
Qualities and Competencies Required

- Ability to work flexibly within a changing work environment and a willingness to work above and beyond.
- Follow project tasks and day to day duties through to completion
- Intermediate Excel skills and Microsoft office skills
- To have ‘self-starting’ qualities
- Very well presented and a high level of professionalism
- Enthusiastic and motivated to achieve in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Qualifications Required
- Intermediate Excel is necessary, along with a desire to stay current
- Previous administration, account management and sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree of higher in Commerce, Business or related fields.
