Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 DOE

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager to join a major contractor delivering an AMP8 wastewater treatment works scheme in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on site management professional with a strong background in the water sector and experience delivering complex civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, resources and task durations.
• Lead the delivery of works within a wastewater treatment environment, ensuring the project is completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and multiple disciplines throughout the project.
• Ensure sufficient labour, plant and materials are available and effectively coordinated on site.
• Oversee programme delivery, monitor progress and provide regular updates and reports to the wider project team.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance, ensuring RAMS are implemented and appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
• Record and report near misses, accidents and changes to site conditions.
• Ensure site records and documentation are accurately maintained and submitted to the relevant Project or Framework Manager.
• Inspect completed works and installations to ensure they meet specification, quality standards and industry best practice.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
About You:
• Proven experience in a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager position within the water or wastewater sector.
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete works and shaft sinking.
• Previous experience working within civil engineering
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple disciplines.
• A proactive, organised and hands-on approach to site management.
• A strong commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
Package:
• £65,000 – £70,000 depending on experience.
• car allowance or company vehicle.
• Pension contributions up to 6%.
• Annual profit share bonus following 12 months' service.
• 25 days' annual leave, including 7 days over the Christmas period.
