An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy, well-established independent automotive workshop in Poole.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the MOT bay as the workshop's dedicated tester, giving you the autonomy to manage your workload while being supported by an experienced and friendly team.

The Role
As the workshop's dedicated MOT Tester, you will:

• Carry out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards (Class 7 experience advantageous).
• Maintain accurate and compliant records using the DVSA VTS system.
• Clearly explain MOT results, failures and advisory items.
• Identify vehicle defects accurately and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised MOT testing bay.
• Work closely with technicians to coordinate repairs and retests.
• Ensure all testing is completed in line with current DVSA regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Current DVSA MOT Tester authorisation (Class 4 essential).
• Previous experience carrying out MOT testing in a professional workshop.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive, reliable and professional attitude.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
