Project Manager – AMP8 Water Projects
Location: Northwest  (Liverpool Project)
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Package

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major AMP8 water infrastructure projects across the Northwest.

This role will suit a driven and commercially aware Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from early contractor involvement (ECI) and design stages through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects through the full lifecycle from ECI and design through to commissioning.
• Define project scope, technical requirements and delivery strategies.
• Control project costs and monitor financial performance.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors and resources.
• Administer NEC contracts and manage variations and change control.
• Ensure compliance with water industry regulations, environmental requirements and HSE legislation.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulators and stakeholders.
• Ensure works are delivered to specification, programme and budget.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing civil engineering or water infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within AMP frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures and shaft sinking works.
• Experience working within a United Utilities environment is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness, particularly NEC contracts.
• Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.
