Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician  or Diagnostic Technician to join a busy, well-established automotive business in Birmingham.  The Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
• Diagnose faults, including complex and non-routine issues
• Complete work efficiently within allocated timeframes
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report defects in line with MOT/VSR standards
• Use the latest diagnostic equipment and technology
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment
• Support and mentor junior/apprentice technicians
• Deliver excellent customer service when required

What we're looking for:

• Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification (or higher)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a workshop environment
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT Tester licence (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Organised, efficient, and process-driven
• Confident communicator with a professional approach
