Overview

A well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Groundworker to support ongoing drainage, wastewater and infrastructure projects across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy contractor with long-term work and a strong pipeline of projects.

Key Responsibilities Duties will include:

• Preparing and maintaining site compounds
• Installation of drainage systems and sewers
• Installing and maintaining over-pumping systems
• Excavation works for foundations and structures
• Assisting with piling and associated civils works
• Concreting foundations and associated groundwork
• Laying ducts and kerbing
• Working safely and efficiently across active construction sites
• Completing timesheets and daily records accurately
• Supporting site teams and supervisors to deliver works to programme

Requirements To be considered, candidates should have:

• Previous experience within civil engineering or utilities groundwork
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Confined Space certification (essential)
• Streetworks / NRSWA qualification (preferred)
• Experience within drainage, sewer or wastewater environments preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
