Service Team Manager

�� Up to £38,900 per annum
�� Monday - Friday (08:00 - 18:00) + Saturday rota
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Service Team Manager to support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy workshop. This is a key position responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining high standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will act as the link between the customer and the workshop, ensuring clear communication, efficient job management, and on-time vehicle delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage workshop workflow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time
• Coordinate with workshop control and wider departments
• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the service process
• Manage job progress, costs, and customer expectations
• Deliver against KPIs including productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue
• Identify upselling opportunities to maximise workshop performance
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and compliance standards
• Support overall team performance and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in the motor industry (service or workshop environment)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good technical knowledge of vehicle systems
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Confident with IT systems and administration
